DIY Guide

Hang a picture with a spirit level: no crooked frames

A crooked frame is more annoying than it should be. With a spirit level, pencil and the right plug, you’re done in five minutes.

Steps

  1. Choose height (eye level is a good start).
  2. Mark lightly. For two hangers: level between both marks.
  3. Pick plug + screw for the wall type (plasterboard, brick, concrete).
  4. Drill, insert plug, fit hook or screw.
  5. Hang and check again with the level.
Plasterboard: use cavity anchors — standard plugs rarely hold well.

Levels and fixings: Tools and Hardware. Our Antwerp team is happy to advise.
