Sanitary silicone
Showers, baths, sinks and kitchen edges. Prefer mould-resistant formulas and a colour that matches the joint.
Acrylic
Better for indoor corners, skirting and overpainting. Less suited to permanent water than sanitary silicone.
All-purpose
Handy for small jobs — check the pack allows wet rooms if you need that.
Tip: cut the nozzle at an angle, extrude in one smooth bead and tool off. Remove old sealant first.
