The CEE wall socket is (splash) waterproof

It is therefore ideally suited for outdoor use, such as camping or a construction site

This earthed wall socket has a power of 400V and a maximum connection value of 32Ampere

The 'earth' ensures that, in the event of broken or loose wiring in an appliance (e.g. washing machine or computer), the metal parts do not become electrified, the current is then conducted into the earth via an extra earth wire.
