The Abus 147TSA/30 is a combination padlock specially designed for travel to America. When you fly to America, your suitcase may have to be opened by TSA (Transportation Security Administration) employees. If there is a lock on the suitcase that the TSA cannot open, the lock will be forced.
You can prevent this by purchasing a so-called TSA lock for your suitcase or bag. These locks are approved by the American security agency that must check baggage. Customs and security people can open and close these locks with a master without causing damage to your lock, bag or suitcase.
