The Gyproc PlaGyp PU27/48 is a U-shaped metal perimeter channel for the substructure of suspended ceilings, used with PlaGyp ceiling profiles. Ceiling profiles slide into the edge channel; plasterboards are screwed to this frame.

Lightweight and easy to cut to length with tin snips. Hot-dip galvanised steel, rust-resistant. Suitable for PlaGyp S (drop up to 20 cm, single grid) and PlaGyp D (larger drop, double grid).

For a ceiling independent of the existing structure, use Gyproc Metal Stud profiles instead of PlaGyp.
