Making coffee with pressure causes a deposit of coffee residue and coffee fat in the part of your Nespresso® machine where the coffee is made (the so-called cup holder) and in the outflow pipe. Every time coffee is made, some of this deposit is carried away by the fresh coffee and this has a detrimental effect on the taste. Which gets worse the longer the deposit remains and continues to accumulate. It is therefore important to regularly clean the Nespresso cup holder. The HG cleaning cups for Nespresso® machines have been developed especially for this purpose.
