Opening the sheath of larger round cables calls for a sharp cable stripping knife with reliable control. This Standard No. 28H tool is designed for common round cables from 8 to 28 mm and helps remove the outer sheath cleanly during electrical, installation and maintenance work. The TiN-coated cutting blade supports a smooth cut through the cable sheath and is suitable for regular use in the workshop, on site or in a service van. The adjustable cutting depth lets you match the blade to the cable diameter, helping you work accurately across different cable sizes and sheath materials. Automatic changeover from circular cut to longitudinal cut makes this stripping tool practical for opening standard installation cables. The compact synthetic body sits comfortably in the hand and gives good control in tight areas such as meter cabinets, distribution boards and technical rooms. The additional hook blade adds convenience for installation work and cutting tasks around cable fitting. A TiN-coated spare blade is stored in the handle, so you have a matching replacement blade ready when needed.
