Methanol 5 litres

Methanol 5L is methyl alcohol in a practical 5-litre pack. Use it as an additive in your window-cleaning solution when washing windows in cold weather — around or just above freezing.

Why methanol in cold weather?

Ideally wash windows at a temperature above freezing so water does not freeze on the glass and your soapy water keeps working. If it is a little colder, you can still work by adding a little alcohol (methanol) to the wash water.

Safety

Tip: always wear gloves. Methanol can have harmful effects when absorbed through the skin. Avoid inhaling vapours and keep the product out of reach of children.
