Assembly and sealing of sink siphons The nut with 5/4" chrome joint from the Saninstal brand is a connection element designed for mounting and securing siphons.

Its nominal diameter of 5/4" corresponds to common standards for sink drains.

The part combines a chrome-plated brass nut and a synthetic gasket to form a complete assembly.

Composition and durable finish The nut is made of brass, a metal alloy known for its resistance to corrosion in humid environments.

The chrome plating applied to the surface provides a shiny finish and additional protection.

The associated gasket is made of synthetic rubber, a material chosen for its flexibility and long-term impermeability.

Integration into drainage systems This nut with seal is intended to tighten and firmly maintain the connection between the different parts of a siphon, in particular the drain tube and the connection to the wall or to the column.

Its role is crucial in guaranteeing the continuity and sealing of the wastewater circuit, thus preventing any unwanted flow under the sink.

Practical advantages of the assembly.

The presence of the integrated seal simplifies installation by eliminating the search for a separate part. upon tightening.

The chrome-plated brass construction guarantees a long lifespan without aesthetic degradation.

The compact and lightweight format of the assembly facilitates handling during plumbing work.

Typical context of use This element is mainly used when installing or replacing a sink trap.

It is suitable for bathroom or kitchen renovation projects, as well as for corrective maintenance operations to repair a leak. with the other components of the system.

The design of the nut allows manual tightening using a suitable wrench, making the assembly accessible for expert DIY.

Once in place, it contributes to the smooth, leak-free operation of the entire evacuation.
