Very high color rendering Lamp base and color temperature Phasing out halogen Switch to LED

Very high color rendering A characteristic of halogen lamps is the very high color rendering, which is also called CRI. This makes colors appear as real and natural as possible. This is especially important in retail, clothing stores or supermarkets. The color rendering of this E14 (Thin Fitting) halogen lamp is 90-99 - Perfect color rendering. Lamp base and color temperature When buying a halogen lamp online, there are a number of things to check in advance. Always check which lamp base/fitting it concerns. This way you can be sure that the halogen lighting actually fits in the fixture. This product has a lamp base: E14 (Thin Fitting). Another aspect is the color temperature, which is expressed in Kelvin. The lower the Kelvin number, the warmer the light. For decorative lighting and accent lighting we recommend very warm light colors (2700K). Warm white (3000K) or cool white (4000K) are more suitable for general lighting. The light color of this halogen lamp is: 3000K - Warm White. Looking for a halogen lamp in a different light color? Then click here for the full range of halogen lamps and make your choice in the filter menu on the left of the page under Light color (Kelvin). Phasing out halogen Since September 2018, this halogen lamp may no longer be produced. This means that you can buy this lighting while supplies last. The phasing out of halogen lighting is a decision of the European Commission. This was taken due to stricter requirements regarding the Ecodesign directive for lamps. Then choose LED! Because LED lighting is available in the same lamp bases/fittings as halogen lamps, you can replace them very quickly. Unlike halogen, an LED lamp does not get hot and does not contain any toxic substances such as mercury. By purchasing LED lighting you also ensure a better environment. Popular LED replacements include the GU5.3 LED lamp, GU4 LED lamp, G53 LED lamp and LED lamps with the well-known screw fittings: E27 and E14. Click here for our range of LED lamps.
